Startup Olé is a tech-event held annually since 2014. The attendees range from investors, corporates, mid-caps, entrepreneurs, accelerators/incubators, media outlets, governments/public admin. and universities/scientific & tech parks. This contains a mix of CEO´s and founders of tech startups, spin-offs and innovative SMEs together with a range of people from across the ecosystem.
The 2020 edition managed to gather more than 300 keyplayers, more than 250 participating startups from 23 different countries that participated in activities such as pitch competitions, networking cocktails or 1-to-1 meetings with investors and corporations.
Startup OLÉ 2021 will take place online and in person, in Salamanca, from September 6 to 10. The days 6th and 7th will be online and from 8th to 10th will be in person. It will be held in 4 different buildings: Colegio Arzobispo Fonseca, Hospedería Fonseca, I+D+i and San Blas Auditorium.

How it works: In a room in the buildings (you can see it in the agenda) the presentation will be loaded on a PC. The Master of Ceremonies will be in charge of naming each startup and their representative will go on stage and start their presentation.

- You will be able to set up your stand from 12:00h CEST on the 7th of September.
- Start of the Startup Fair: 8th of September morning.

- In addition, you can design your stand as you wish. You can place a roll-up, show products, demonstrations…
- We request for a free-of-paper stand if possible.
Before setting up your stand you will have to pick up your accreditation (in the detailed agenda of the website you can see the exact place to pick it up),
- Investors access a database of all startups and select those they are interested in for a private meeting.
- They are currently making this selection.

As the meetings are private, when the investors finalise their selection, you will receive an email with the schedule of your meetings.
7th of September with investment funds participating both online and in person. It will be through Zoom Meetings that will be managed by the Startup OLÉ team.

- However, it is possible that the investment funds participating online will choose to meet with you on the 7th of September. Please keep this in mind so that you are available to attend these meetings if you are selected.

The stand will be set-up on Tuesday 7th from 12:00 to 20:00 (CEST).
The take-down of the stand will take place on September 9th.
You must download the template provided by Startup OLÉ here, once you have downloaded it you must modify it as necessary to adjust your presentation to the template we provide.
Due to the socio-sanitary conditions it is not necessary to attend in person, Startup OLÉ offers specific platforms so that all the people who cannot attend the event can make a good networking.
