Veronica Galan is a Mexican journalist with more than a decade of professional experience in various local, national, and international media, print, electronic and digital.
She was a correspondent for Reuters and launched the digital media CNNExpansión.com and recently Business Insider México, where she is currently Editor-in-Chief.
Veronica studied Communication Sciences at ITESO, recognized worldwide for its sustainable initiatives in the UI GreenMetric University Ranking. She has a Master’s in Journalism from the Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, which has been ranked in the 2.3% of the best universities in the world in the QS World University Rankings.
Additionally, she holds diplomas in Digital Economy from Universidad Anáhuac and SAP; Leadership from the IPADE Business School, ranked amongst the best universities to study an MBA worldwide, and in Economic Journalism by ITAM, recognized as one of the best universities in Business, Economics, International Relations, Law and Sciences. Veronica has participated in and won scholarships specializing in digital journalism by the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) and was selected for the program Supporting New Alliances to Eradicate Violence against Women in Politics and Media, from 2020 to 2022, organized by the International Foundation for Women in the Media and the National Democratic Institute.

She also has extensive experience in the area of external and internal corporate communication, mainly in the financial sector.
